Bil Senedd Cymru (Rhestrau Ymgeiswyr Etholiadol)| Senedd Cymru (Electoral Candidate Lists) Bill
Ymateb gan Unigolyn | Evidence from Individual
Self ID not only endangers women, children and vulnerable people but undermines national statistic audits, undermines social cohesion and undermines health and safety at work and education institutions
The bill is a breach of the Equality act 2010 and the Gender Recognition Act 2004. Non compliance of any self ID act should be ignored as gender critical beliefs are protected by the Equality Act 2010
It’s unlawful, immoral, unethical and unenforceable by any law.
Extreme risks to women, children and vulnerable people by males entering female designated spaces, as has been reported widely across mainstream media
What are your views on the Welsh Government’s assessment of the financial and other impacts of the Bill?
When the economy, education and NHS are failing, projects should be prioritised, not vanity projects which open widespread discrimination and endanger safeguarding of women, children and vulnerable people
The information fails to create balance between safeguarding and self ID. With groups, such as Stonewall receiving funding by Welsh Government and nothing for women’s, children’s and vulnerable people’s groups, this shows widespread discrimination by Welsh Government
With Welsh Government funding Stonewall in Wales they are unable to process such a bill without bias. This endangers women, children and vulnerable people and would be against recent rulings by EHCR
The bill puts lives at risk, Welsh Government have failed to take concerns into account and refused to speak with opposition groups while funding groups, such as Stonewall.
This is a dangerous policy. As someone identified as transfender, this bill not only puts women, children and vulnerable people at risk, but puts the lives of trans people at risk also
